EPE Training Systems is an intimate environment located in Lake Forest, CA right off the 5. Our vision is to provide an alternative to the big-box commercial gym environment, and all the baggage that comes with it. The gym is set up for personal and small group training, however we do plan to have a couple open hours during the week so that a trainee can make up a missed session during the week, or work on a weak area, or work on your power clean technique, or work your grip strength a little, or get in a little extra energy work, etc. Of course, there is no charge for this. It’s just a reflection of our commitment to your fitness goals.
Our style of training is to stick to the core barbell movements as our main strength emphasis, while assisting those exercises with a variety of equipment to further increase overall conditioning, athletic and functional capabilities. Strength equipment used includes Power Racks and a variety of bars, Glute Ham Bench, Reverse Hyper, Elite FTS Belt Squat, Dumbell Work, and Supercat Jump Squat Press, etc.
For our metabolic conditioning (aerobic/anaerobic lactic), we incorporate a tremendous variety equipment to both keep the workout interesting as well as provide conditioning specific to any sport. Included in our arsenal is the Rogers Tred Sled, Versa Climber, Prowler Sleds, Powermax 360, Bulgarian Bags, Kettlebells, Ropes, Supercat, Medicine Balls, Dragging Sleds, Farmer Walk Handles, Schwynn Airdyne, Strongman Wheelbarrow, Strongman Conan Wheel Yoke, etc.
Our array of equipment will rival any serious gym in the county, and we maintain a very comfortable, easy-going environment that welcomes all people of varying ages and fitness levels.
